'The moose is a majestic animal. He is the master of his domain. He is a fierce protector of his family and he does not take more from mother nature than he needs.'

These words were part of the enrollment ritual in 1987. I can still hear the voice of Hardy Bennet as he spoke them. I still hear his bellowing voice, "This vow, once taking will connect you to us and us to you for all times. As Morris Alemond held my elbow guiding my steps, I realized the permanence of the vow.
